This site has had a long run, and it has been fun to maintain. However, I am ready to move on, and to that end, the site is for sale.

There are two "modes" to this sale.

First, you may buy the domain only. AnonymousConfession.com gets a fair amount of traffic. I do not have nor keep stats for any longer than 30 days, so I cannot give you a historical hit count. However, from December 8, 2007, to January 7, 2008, as an example, the site got:

138,883 total hits on non-image pages, an average of 4,629 page views per day.

The top referrers were: Google.com, Ask.com, Google.ca, Google.co.uk, Yahoo.com, MSN.com, Live.com, Google.com.au, and AOL.com.

Even with no content, the new owner of the domain will get an immediate bump in hits, though this number will drop off if new content is not provided.

The second "mode" is to purchase all content along with the domain name. This includes all graphic images, all HTML pages, and all messages. This includes several thousand messages in active message boards and several thousand more in archive boards. I would be willing to write programs to convert the messages into static HTML pages, which would allow the site to stand alone for some time.

For a negotiated fee, I would also be willing to sell binary copies of the programs that run the site - these programs include one to post new messages, one to list the messages in a forum, and a program to list specific messages. The programs will run as is on a FreeBSD system, and for the right buyer, I could arrange to compile them on any other Unix-based system.
